Watersmeet coarse fishing

The fishing is from the left bank ( Acomb bank ) extending downstream from the marker post below Warden Gorge, for approximately 1,000 mtrs , the lower limit is  80 mtrs below the Tynes Junction Pool. The beat includes a mix of pools and streams. Travelling west from Hexham take the first right from the A69 leading to Acomb village , the left onto Howden Lane . Car  parking is on the left of Howden Lane prior to the Quarry entrance.

Fishing is with float fishing and ledger tactics only. A mix of dace and chub with the occasional perch can be expected. Catch returns are very important.
