Tyne Rivers Trust > Education

Tyne Rivers Trust want a future where young people take part in memorable, inspiring, and fun learning activities which allow them to truly connect with rivers.

Through our education programmes, we have been inspiring children of all ages about the River Tyne and their local burns.

Our ambition is to connect with young people through a meaningful multi-session approach using a variety of creative resources and activities to expand their horizons, achieving a new generation of river stewards.

We are currently developing an exciting new learning programme which we hope to offer to schools in the Tyne catchment soon…please contact us if you are interested in finding out more about these opportunities once they are funded.

We are also planning to tour with our Tyne Interactive Model this year. If you are interested in attending a session once dates and venues become available, please contact us.

In the meantime, we can offer bespoke sessions and activities to schools that have funding available. Please contact us to find out more:

The other pages in this section of our website show some of the activities we have previously run with schools https://www.tyneriverstrust.org/project/river-school/
