WORKING WITH FARMERS ON THE RIVER REDE
As part of the Environment Agency’s, Water Environment Improvement Fund, we’ve been working with farmers near to the River Rede to look at ways to become more environmentally friendly and improve water quality.
Simple solutions like moving a muck bay away from the river or fencing animals away from the river can make a big difference.
Once our research from farm visits is finished, we’ll be looking to secure funding to carry out these practical solutions.
