Dear Volunteers,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
Some dates for your diary…please let me know if there is anything that you would like to come along to. Some of the training days and talks are restricted on numbers…
- Thursday 25th May- Jesmond Dene- 10am (or meet at TRT office at 9.20am. Please bring wellies!)
- Thursday 1st June- Litter pick at Gateshead- 1pm- This is a joint task with staff from Akzonobel
- Friday 2nd June- Geomorphology course with Professor Malcolm Newson- Trees Please 10am until 3pm
- Thursday 8th June- Litter pick with Akzonobel staff 1pm- location TBC
- Thursday 15th June- Litter pick with Akzonobel staff 1pm- location TBC
- Mon 19th June- Balsam bash- Derwenthaugh Park- 6pm
- Tuesday 20th June- Balsam bash- 10.30am- with Northumbrian Water Ltd- Location tbc
- Friday 23rd June- Invasives talk with Graham Holyoak at The Reading Rooms, Ovingham- 1.30pm (Graham will be telling us the outcome of our invasives surveys over the last couple of years)
- Mon 26th June- Riverfly training day-The Reading Rooms Ovingham- let me know if you would be interested in becoming a Riverfly monitor for us!
I will leave it there for now as there are lots of dates above and possibly more to add amongst them!
