Alison Vipond facilitates the Tyne Catchment Partnership. She convenes partners from statutory agencies, local government, Northumbrian Water, research institutions, businesses, NGOs and community groups to co‑develop integrated solutions using the Catchment Based Approach. The Partnership’s aims are to improve water quality, enhance biodiversity, build climate resilience and strengthen communities across the Tyne catchment, from its upland streams to the estuary and coast.
Alison brings a systems‑thinking perspective and draws on insights from previous impact‑driven roles across finance, cooperatives, universities and Defra. She is committed to collaborative, whole‑catchment stewardship that supports good outcomes for people, river environments and the regional economy.
