Stunning 2025 Charity Calendar Unveiled

We are thrilled to announce the release of our highly anticipated 2025 Charity Calendar. This year’s calendar once again showcases the stunning images taken by talented local photographers and highlights the beautiful diversity of the areas around the Tyne rivers.

The 2025 Charity Calendar is now available for purchase from our website. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will directly benefit the trust and our mission to connect and inspire people about their local river, improve water quality and biodiversity, help to increase the region’s prosperity and ensure our rivers are resilient to climate change.

Aidan Pollard, fisheries manager for Tyne Rivers Trust said, “We are thrilled once again to receive so many beautiful photographs of our rivers and surrounding areas and wildlife. As a charity we rely on funding to allow us to continue our work. We hope that people will once again purchase the calendars and enjoy them throughout the year.

“We are extremely grateful to EGGER for funding the production costs of our calendar and their continued support of the work we carry out.”

Tobias Zimmermann, Production & Technical Director at the EGGER plant in Hexham, said: “EGGER are delighted to once again support the Tyne Rivers Trust in their dedicated work to look after the Tyne rivers, by funding the production of their calendars. The charity’s work is important in trying to tackle the effects of climate change and support the wildlife and landscape of the Tyne rivers. This aim aligns with EGGER’s mission to embrace sustainable practices in all aspects of our business, and become carbon Net Zero by 2050.”

Susan Cook’s captivating image of the Newcastle Quayside at night has been selected as the cover image for this year’s calendar.

Susan said: “I chose to send a photo taken on the Millennium Bridge at night because the colours created a magical effect. The lighting on the bridge is used effectively when there is a special occasion. There is a circular route crossing a few of the bridges giving different views.”

The calendar is available to purchase from www.tyneriverstrust.org/online-shop/gifts/
