Double your donation in the Green Match Fund Week
For one week only, we have been given the opportunity to have all donations that it receives doubled!
We are taking part in the Big Give campaign to raise £20,000 in just one week. These funds will be used for to help us to continue our vital work across the Tyne catchment to restore the Tyne rivers, monitor their health, and engage local communities so that people understand and appreciate their environment.
Dr Jack Bloomer, chief scientist and technical director at Tyne Rivers Trust said, “Our work is vital to protect our natural resources, both the water and its surrounding environment. We want the Tyne rivers to continue to be beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy. The funding we receive allows us to continue carrying out our work and the Big Give Green Match Fund is an amazing opportunity to double all donations that we receive for one week only between the 22nd and the 29th of April.”
Donations to Tyne Rivers Trust will be matched by Big Give’s Champions during the campaign to make double the difference to our work of improving water quality, protecting biodiversity, and creating healthier ecosystems.
Jack continued, “This year we’re looking to raise a total of £20,000. In order to access the £20,000 we have in the matching pot, we need to raise £10,000 in online donations. We are asking everyone to give whatever they can to help us reach our target and enable us to carry on the work we all feel so passionately about.”
