How Can We Drive Change Together?

With you as a partner we can deliver the solutions our rivers need. The involvement of our partners is increasingly vital in our mission to deliver a healthier environment for all. There are a number of ways your business can work with us:
- Support our educational work to reach even more young people and engage the water stewards of the future.
- Sponsor specific projects, from small scale riverbank cleans, to larger projects such as re-meandering rivers or creating wetlands.
- Make us part of your employee wellness strategy and let us take your team out of their usual working surroundings and into the beautiful natural environment to support their physical and mental wellbeing.
- Make a donation. Even one-off donations can make a difference to help us plant trees along riverbanks or restore rivers.
- Nominate us as your Charity of the Year.
As you can see from the list of corporate supporters below, we welcome all types of partnerships, funding and sponsorship proposals. If you are interested in getting involved with focussed, evidence-based conservation, habitat improvement, environmental regeneration and education programmes, please do not hesitate to contact us: x.setna@tyneriverstrust.org
Coatsink – case study

Coatsink Software Ltd is a UK game developer and publisher based in Gateshead.
To support their staff wellbeing, Coatsink offer sustainability focused volunteering days for their team with the aim of getting them out into nature and making a positive impact on the environment. In 2024, they asked us to take a team of staff members for a day by the Tyne carrying out invasive species removal.
Emma Blenkinsop, Admin Manager at Coatsink said, “Tyne Rivers Trust was recommended to me as an organisation providing interesting corporate volunteering opportunities and invasive species removal appealed as something new which ticked all our boxes. As a predominantly remote working studio we don’t get to meet up in person as often as we’d like and it’s very easy to spend too much time inside at our desks. These sorts of volunteering days get us outside and help us reconnect. Much like our previous volunteering days we had a really fun and rewarding day and the activity itself was both educational and satisfying. I would highly recommend the Tyne Rivers Trust for corporate volunteering opportunities and invasive species removal specifically as a fun and impactful activity.”
The feedback we received from their team was also extremely positive.
Fernanda:
“It was quite a relaxing and insightful experience! I enjoyed learning about the plants surrounding the river and helping removing the troublesome ones. It was also a nice moment to enjoy staying outside, appreciating the nature around us. Also, I saw a swan, 10/10.”
