Our 2026 Calendar Unveiled
We are delighted to announce the release of our 2026 charity calendar.

The Tyne Rivers Trust calendar always proves to be popular, and this year we’re sure you won’t be disappointed, with a range of beautiful photographs that showcase the many facets of the Tyne rivers, including the diversity of wildlife and biodiversity that inhabit the catchment.

Local amateur and professional photographers have come together to showcase the beauty and diversity of the River Tyne in our stunning new calendar.
Featuring captivating images of the river’s landscapes, wildlife, and iconic bridges — from its rural headwaters to its tidal reaches — the calendar captures the Tyne in all its moods and moments throughout the year.
All proceeds from calendar sales will support the vital conservation work that we undertake.
Sophia Stovall, Chief Executive Officer of Tyne Rivers Trust, said: “This year’s calendar brings together images that reflect the many facets of the river — from its tranquil, wooded valleys and thriving wildlife to the architecture of some of the North East’s most recognisable bridges.
We’re incredibly fortunate to have so many talented photographers who share our passion for the river and its environment. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Egger for generously funding the production of the calendar and for their continued commitment to supporting our work.”
This year’s front cover image features the Grade II listed bridge over the Ouse Burn at Jesmond Dene, taken by Adrian White who also volunteers for Tyne Rivers Trust.
Mr White said, “I’ve been interested in photography from a very young age. I enjoy capturing scenes and looking at how they can change depending on time of day, seasons and conditions. I hope that providing a photograph for the calendar helps to support the Trust’s fundraising.
“My wife and I have been volunteering with Tyne Rivers Trust since we retired. After spending too long in meetings during my working life, it’s a great way to spend time outdoors doing positive work for the environment.”
The 2026 River Tyne charity calendar is now available to purchase from our website. Every calendar sold will directly support the our mission to connect and inspire people with their local river, improve water quality and biodiversity, boost the region’s prosperity, and help ensure our rivers are resilient in the face of climate change.
