Volunteers Newsletter 14th June 2017
Dear Volunteers,
Thank you to everyone for all of your help on tasks recently! Here are our next tasks…
Thursday 15th June- 1pm- Hebburn Riverside Park- litter pick with Akzo Nobel staff. We will be travelling a short distance from here. I will be leaving the office at 12.10am or meet at site at 1pm.
Monday 19th June- 6pm- Derwenthaugh Park (meet at Winlaton Mill car park) Balsam bash. As I will be heading straight home from this task please meet at site. Please do let me know if you can make it along to this.
Tuesday 20th June- 10.30am- Wharmley- Balsam bash. Please meet at The Boatside Inn car park at Warden at 10.30am or I will be leaving the TRT office at 10.10am. We will be joined by a group from NWL for this task.
Friday 23rd June- 1.30pm- Ovingham Reading Rooms- Graham Holyoak will be updating us on our findings from the invasives mapping volunteers have helped us with over the past two years. All welcome!
My colleague Liz Walters has asked me to let you know (sorry for the short notice!) that Derek Gow will be giving a talk at Tarset Village Hall tonight at 7.30pm about the NWT Restoring Ratty Project and about Water Voles in general if you would like to go along please do!
Also we would be very grateful if anybody is free to help our Farms Liaison Officer Danielle when she represents TRT at ‘A Midsummer’s Evening’ in Corbridge on Thursday 22nd June 5pm until 8pm, it would be great if somebody could help her set up and take down at this event.
