Jack Bloomer is Deputy Chief Executive at the Trust. He works on large-scale projects to improve river habitat including fish passes. He also leads our project to reduce the impact of pollution from historic metal mines in the North Pennines.
Jack has a degree in Marine Biology, a Masters in Aquatic Resource Management from King’s College London and completed his PhD at the University of Southampton where he studied the effects of groundwater upwelling on salmon incubation success.
