Dr Ceri Gibson has more than 20 years experience in water quality management and river conservation.
She has led many successful projects for the Trust including the Catchment Restoration Project at Haltwhistle which used green engineering to improve water quality and reduce the impact of flooding.
In addition to this, Ceri spent three years at the Freshwater Biological Association running a national project to restore freshwater pearl mussel rivers across England.
