Mayfly in the Classroom is an educational programme that is linked to the National Curriculum that teaches children about mayfly life cycles and what is in their local stream.  Mayfly nymphs are grown in aquaria in the classroom til they emerge and then they are released back into their local stream.

This sponsorship will allow us to deliver the Mayfly in the Classroom programme to one primary school in the Tyne Catchment.

Adopt a Stream is a new project that engages communities with their streams and rivers through monitoring river health and taking action to conserve and improve them.  By sponsoring an activity or equipment you can help the communities and the streams in the Tyne Catchment.
