RIVER SCHOOL ROLLS ON

Our River School project has seen the Trust deliver science-based lessons in 20 schools. The lessons aim to connect pupils with the River Tyne using the lifecycle of salmon and mayfly. The majority of our lessons take place outdoors and give pupils the opportunity to see first hand what lives in our river.

Children from Chollerton C of E Aided First School enjoyed some time in their local burn, looking at and identifying the creatures that live there.
